14x20x1 Air Filters: MERV 8, 11 & 13, Delivered on Schedule

Looking for a 14x20x1 air filter? 14x20x1 often fits smaller returns and wall grilles. If the print on your old frame has worn off, measure the slot and round to the nearest inch.

Every Draynix 14x20x1 filter is a 1-inch pleated AC and furnace filter in your choice of rating: - MERV 8: everyday dust and pollen control, fine for every system. - MERV 11: finer capture, including pet dander, when your system allows. - MERV 13: the finest of the three; check your system manual first, since some older systems prefer less restriction.

Frequently asked questions

What is the actual size of a 14x20x1 air filter?

"14x20x1" is the nominal (rounded) size printed on the frame. The true dimensions usually run about ½ inch smaller on length and width, and the frame is a little under 1 inch deep. Order by the nominal size printed on your current filter, not a tape-measured slot. Not sure? Use Find Your Filter.

Can I use a 14x20x1 instead of a 15x20x1?

No. A 14x20x1 is an inch narrower than a 15x20x1, so it would leave a gap where air and dust go around the filter. Use the exact size printed on your current filter. Draynix doesn't carry 15x20x1 right now; if that's your size, check the Find Your Filter quiz for what we stock.

How often should filters be changed?

For a 1-inch pleated filter, plan on every 1–3 months. Change it monthly in heavy cooling season, with pets, or during construction dust. Check it monthly and replace it when it looks gray. The Filter Plan ships monthly (20% off) or every 3 months (10% off), so the next one shows up before you need it.

What MERV rating should I use?

Most homes do well with MERV 8 (dust, pollen, lint). Step up to MERV 11 to catch more pet dander and pollen, or MERV 13 for the finest capture (smoke, fine dust) if your system handles the airflow. Filter Plan prices are the same in every size, from $28.79 per filter on monthly delivery.
